Aura: the energy field caused by the electro-magnetic field that vibrates in and around all living beings and matter

Aromatherapy: the use of various odors from essential oils, flowers, fruits, or herbs to enhance mood, healing, and spiritual or magical rituals and ceremonies

Astral projection: the deliberate separation of the astral or spiritual body from the physical body to journey beyond the immediate realm

Cartomancy: a form of divination in which a regular deck of playing cards are used to give a spiritual reading

Chakras: seven wheel-like energy centers located within the central core of the body running from the top of the head to the base of the spine that send and receive life force energy

Clairaudience: the ability to hear sounds and voices of the dead that others may not be able to hear

Crystallomancy: a form of divination using a crystal ball

Divination: the act of consulting the divine in order to retrieve insight, guidance, or healing through various tools, prayer, or rituals to deepen ones connection with Spirit

Extrasensory perception (ESP): the ability to sense things beyond or by means other than the ordinary senses, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition

Herbology: the study and use of various herbs in alternative medicine, holistic healing, and metaphysical practices

Insight: the ability to understand the true nature of a situation or person through intuitive understanding

Intuitive: one that possesses the ability to perceive the truth of a situation or something unseen through ordinary sight through the gift of insight or some other form of extrasensory perception

Meditation: the act of reflection or extended thought through moments of stillness for spiritual introspection or in order to consult with the Divine

Medium: a person with the ability to consult and/or communicate with the spirit realm through psychic methods there by bridging the gap between the world of the dead and the living

Necromancy: magic or divination in which sorcery, witchcraft, or the black arts are used in order to conjure spirits or magical outcomes

Numerology: the study numbers and their influence on one’s life, character, future, etc.

Out-of-body Experience: the involuntary separation of the astral or spiritual body from the physical body to journey beyond the immediate realm usually occurring during sleep or unconsciousness

Parapsychology: a form of psychology that includes the study of psychic phenomenon such as telepathy, clairvoyance, extrasensory perception

Psychic: one that is capable of providing certain truths through extrasensory perception or other mental techniques, such as intuition and insight

Precognition: the knowledge of future events or situations through some form of psychic or clairvoyant method

Premonition: a forewarning or advanced knowledge of a future event or situation usually seen in dreams, visions, or during meditation

Reiki: a form of therapy in which a practitioner will channel universal energy to their client in order to promote healing and balance within the body

Runes: a form of divination that uses symbols by way of casting for spiritual guidance

Scrying: the act of gazing upon certain glossy, shiny, or smooth surfaced items in order to detect prophetic images

Synchronicity: two or more events that at first appear to be coincidental or unrelated yet later prove to be important

Tarot Reading: a form of divination that involves the use of a deck of cards with numbers, symbols, and colors laid out in various spreads for spiritual guidance

Telekinesis: the ability to move an item or body with the power of the mind without physical touch or force

Telepathy: communication or transfer of thoughts from one persons mind to another persons mind through extrasensory means

Trance: the deep meditative or seemingly unconscious state which some mediums will enter in order to receive messages and/or communicate with the dead
